Here are some facts on NSKY. Hope they help you with your decision.

New sky is a fully reporting movie production company with 200 million shares authorized, approximately 193 million shares issued (according to latest 10-Q report) and 93 million shares in the float.

There are three major projects currently in the works for which we are awaiting news releases. CEO Carl Reynolds refuses to issue interim PRs during negotiations, for fear of being accused of hyping--a refreshing position for a BB company head. When the news on any of the three projects does hit, and soon, IMO the stock will react as it has in the past and reach between .10 and .15 on the first news. But with multiple PRs expected, each of the others will certainly have a positive influence as well.

The three projects:

"Freak Talks About Sex", a comedy starring Steve Zahn, now a very hot property in Hollywood. Final editing, done to include more scenes with Zahn, is nearly finished and negotiations for distribution are being completed. Several major distributors were very interested, but with Reynolds' closed-mouth-during-negotiations policy, we will have to wait for PR to see which one came out on top. We will be very pleased with the results of these talks.

Zahn has just wrapped on an independent film "Happy Texas" (no release date yet), and is now on the set with Sandra Bullock and Ben Affleck shooting Dreamworks' "Forces of Nature" which is set for release Feb. 12, 1999. Nobody bigger than Dreamworks!!

"Face Facts", Lynn Adams' screenplay to which New Sky owns the rights. Hollywood A-list very interested in participating in this picture, including director Peter Bogdanovich ("The Last Picture Show,", "Paper Moon", etc.) Industry publication Daily Variety reported on July 24 that Bogdanovich was in talks to helm the shooting for Winchester Entertainment, who is finalizing the financing deal now with New Sky. It is a comedy about a woman who must make herself seem younger than she really is to get the job that she desperately wants. Actress Brooke Adams (sister of the author) is expected to have a role as well as, according to Variety, Phoebe Cates (wife of Kevin Kline) and Tony Shalhoub. We'll know when the PR comes out and word on this one will be a tremendous boost for share price.

"The Hell Candidate", a book by British mystery writer Graham Masterton to which NSKY also owns the screen rights. It's a story about a would-be kingmaker, supposedly in league with the devil, pulling the strings for a presidential candidate. NSKY recently announced that Leonard Shapiro, who is very experienced in the movie business (see previous posts) will be co-executive producer on this film. And, from what I can determine, terrific news is right around the corner on this one, as well. The script is now being written and, as soon as it is completed, Shapiro will do what he does best. By the way, Shapiro has also been named the worldwide marketing and distribution consultant for all of NSKY's projects, including "Freak..." Getting Shapiro was quite a coup.

There is great DD on NSKY by many others is all over this thread. There should be no question as to "what" for anyone who is interested. And we are expecting news soon on not one, but three projects.
