Rude - One more thing. Some of the guys posting today on the Dell thread cracked me up. There were a series of posts regarding services and how Dell has stated they will not buy a service outfit. The poster went on to quote M. Dell, stating that they will do service via 'automation' on the internet. That might work for the first step in diagnosing a very simple PC problem, but these posters seem to have no clue what it takes to provide O/S service to the enterprise, not to mention the fact that the term 'services' can also encompass system design and installation. I remember a strong effort to try and introduce some semblance of AI to help solve MVS problems some years ago at IBM, after quite a bit of work the project was abandoned as it was not practical to do this....
