DJ; RE:" Take Me To Your Leader "

well... there's Monsieur Gore; haven't a clue who the VP nominee would be - a woman would be an inspired choice.

The Japanese appear leader-less; kaos favours Kohl's chances, IMHO.

>We need a new kind of a new deal...

yeah, I agree. MadameGonzo and I were talking about that during cocktail hour this evening. We've just been living fat off the spoils of the ColdWar for some time now. Very little investment in any infrastructure. Bandwidth is obvious, like Eisenhower's programme to build the interstate highway system after WWII. That's easy to do; needs to be global.

Remember Kennedy's "This nation... will land a man on the moon... by the end of this decade" agenda ? And from that fell out chips and fast food and communications and all kindsa good stuff to play with. What I'd like to see is the vision thing again - you know - like, "this nation... will crack the code of life... by the end of the first decade of the new millennium". yeah, man - programmable plants and evolution by eugenics.

Problem is -- no problem. No WAR... who's the enemy ?

Guess that's why we gotta melt down DJ; so we can get off our fat bums and get on with it, mate (^_^)

to fix is a peculiarly American word (not British) and has one of the longest, and most diverse definitions in the dictionary.
