Bill, Just finished hooking up my satellite dish and it's great! Couldn't wait any longer for US West to install the ISDN line which I have had ordered since July! The satellite system is PC Direct from Hughes. It only cost $200 and allows you to use their ISP or one of your own. I figure the monthly charge (with full-time trading useage) at about $50-$75. Now the good part! The download is 400K! My stock boxes (Dell for example) only takes 1 second to completely load! I'm a very happy man as my 30K modem took at least 30 seconds or longer. The upfeed is through your modem. I'm switching to 56K modem but may get a shotgun which will give me 128K upload with the satellite 400K download. I called CyberTrader and tested their quotes and I'm very close to real-time. Because the download is more critical with daytrading, I feel this system is the best I can achieve given cable modems and ADSL are not in my area. Plan to give it a real test tomorrow! Brent
