Don: Interesting post...but the risk is much higher if the stock falls through your strike price, for example you may get the stock at 38 3/4 while the stock is falling to 36. The downside risk is unlimited (all the way to zero)!! I basically play the short puts so as to never get the stock. Great job on those Sept 40's..
