Hi Peter, Why was Novell's NOS chosen at BT? I'm new to this thread and have found it a very informative. I'm a member of the engineering team that will evaluate the continued use of Novell or convert to NT as the NOS of choice. Your comments on why you chose IntranetWare would be of tremendous help. Many factors are being considered on what network operating system vendor will carry this university into the next century. I'm partial to the current direction of Novell with Java virtual machine and NDS security. Other factors like, performance and reliablity will play a part in where the University puts it's resources. What factors and test results can you share with us on why Novell's solution should be a major investment in networking infrastructure? The debate is getting more attention.
