B.REVERE, re:SP8z
Yep, I came up with a similar futures discount.
The INTC deal is a smokescreen, IMO. Analysts had been guided to expect flat to slightly up; projections = 8-10%. However, analysts had been guided to expect 3-5% increase in expenses; projections = 7-8%. Soon and very soon, investors will realize that economy-of-scale saws both ways. (Did someone say, "channel stuffing?")
if AG sticks his hand in the treasury cookie jar again, and buys out the futures that could save the market. Of course that would be illegal, but then again who nominated him?
Reagan. Recall Volker? (Of course, WJC re-appointed AG.)
BTW, the BK thread has a prediction game for tomorrow's (9/11) close. Rather than multi-cast, I'll post here: INDU -3.5% COMPQ -1.3%
