Steve, I think I know why. I think you feel very strongly, and want to share your joy of knowledge with everyone, so that they may feel the joy you feel. Frankly, that is commendable. Sort of like, if you knew the cure for cancer, how could you possibly keep it to yourself, and not share it with everyone. I understand that.
My only point is that I really don't think you will convert anyone to your thinking in this forum. Perhaps you will get some support, as you have, from some like thinking members. But, just as strongly as you 'know' you're right, so equally do others 'know' that they are right. Thus you have an impasse, with no room for true debate.
In fact, you agree with another point I made, that being the waste of time inherent in this kind of debate. So, at least on this point, we agree.
