Thanks. As you said in your original post, your semi-equip disaster prospects were off the top of your head, so you certainly have a right to your "maybe" disclaimer. I am somewhat nervous about buying SFAM and am simply trying to gauge before I jump in whether my limited nervousness is too much or too little.

BTW and even more off topic have you seen a good big picture book on communications infrastructure technologies - the whole WDM, wireless and that sort of thing - things that people like LU and Tellabs and Ciena and their brethren sell?

I am not aware of one. This is an area where my technical understanding is generally weak, so if you find a good overview book on telecomm technologies, let me know, I would be interested. I will keep my eyes open for one...
