MeDroogies... come on. You know what I look for in Orcl numbers. License revenue. When Orcl delivers license revenue above 20% Ill be happy as a clam, if they dont do that then I know we wont see any rise in the stock. This time we have 13% rise in license revenues, all the rest is services it looks like, so again I dont predict any appreciable move in the stock. Now, the caviat is, that the whole sector is SO BEARISH that a 13% rise might actually beat the whisper number so maybe the stock will rise.

I like Oracle and I think they have some good things coming with Oracle 8i it looks like - some good innovation going on in the engine area. Apps dont look too hot, but then Sap isnt exactly on fire right now either. So thats ok.

I wasnt short Oracle but even if I was I wouldnt have made any money because this stock has only moved 5 points in either direction the whole time Ive been posting on this board. Thats what happens when msft kills your mkt, look at novell stock, theres just no way to make money. Im not happy about that btw.

Please post here more often MeDroogies I missed you.
