Just an observation, since about 1970 there have been several major
market corrections of about 30-45% from the peaks. If historical
precedence is maintained then we still have about another 15-25%
(from the peak of 9300) more downside to come before the markets bottom, that would put the DOW at somewhere around 6000 +/- 300
as a rough estimate. Just speculating here on a worst case scenario.
I know things are "different" now, but the markets are cyclical and
we've had a nice run. This is a "global" economy after all.
