I think you should take a look at CCSI. It's even been removed from Mr Pink's list of stocks to short:

It actually firmed up a bit today despite the bad market. I see it as both a good short term and long term play. It could be traded for a 25% plus gain if it remains in it's trading range. The stock closed at 3 3/4's today, up 1/16. Yearly low is 2 3/8's and the high was 18 in anticipation of a manufacturing and distribution deal for the company's proprietary non invasive infant bilirubin monitoring machine. It has been over a year since the FDA approved this device but why would the FDA approve it if it did not work? The stock still has plenty of shorts but they are getting nervous.
