Hello! Jim, I was reviewing some historical postings from this NYRR Thread--mainly due to my feeling that NYRR seems to be holding up well considering the overall stock market conditions over the past few days. In a nutshell and of course in my own opinion based on feedback or I should say opinion that I have received from an NYRR Management Representative there is a possibility that we could see some positive developments announced prior to mid-October!! What those announcements could possibly cover ? I am hoping/betting on a few scenarios but if or until it actually takes place it remains a guessing game! ( At least to me!).... Some of my speculative opinions of what any/all future NYRR Announcements could include? Okay! Let's give it a try! Off the speculative top of my noggin---Government Grant Subsidies? JMO! A major/minor share offering to off-set any/all current debt associated with NYRR? JMO! Announcement of contracts with other Rail Companies? JMO! Some sort of settlement with the Conrail Lawsuit scenario? JMO! A buy-out offer for NYRR by another Railroad? JMO! Well as we can all see the speculative possibilities are endless! And the longer that NYRR Shareholders have to guess as to the Financial and Reporting Status of NYRR --I'm betting that the more intriguing, interesting and unique the rumor mill becomes surrounding NYRR. I for one hope that NYRR becomes a SEC Reporting Company ( real soon) --I guess I just don't like the term " Pink Sheets"---That scenario in it's self in my opinion is reason enough for NYRR Management to start getting real serious about what direction this company is headed!-----I am of course a minor shareholder in the whole scheme of things--but my guess is that there are some NYRR Management Representatives that hold/own significant share amounts---so do I think that they are interested in seeing some good things happen /formulate for NYRR and it's shareholders in the not too distant future? I'm betting --Yes! But! That's just my opinion! Sorry if I woke anyone up!--It's pretty quiet around here without Jack! JMO!--I wonder if "Meathead" is allowed to post in Jack's place? Any other thought's or opinions out there? I agree with Jim--it looks like something is cooking! JMO! Wayne J. ( One of Jack's Friends!)....
