Berney, I am now fundamentally concerned. Investing and trading are losing their meaning to me. The money we are making is losing intrinsic value. We are witnessing not a reduction of equity valuations, but the destruction of kapital itself.

As the banks around the world and at home continue to collapse, more and more people will be withdrawing funds and frenetically seeking to put them somewhere, anywhere - where their intrinsic value does not decay (forget "earn interest" - just stop losing value). In the end, all of these desperate measures will be for nought.

I'm sitting here at my console, Berney - in my little room upstairs, listening to the rain on the roof. There's a storm out in the Gulf somewhere, beating on the coast. I'm sitting here, and I'm thinking, "what has value ?"
