Actually that is not true. I have repeatedly speculated about the prospects for those companies. I generally avoid discussing the details of my investments, but if it has any chance of ending this mindless dialogue we have been having for months, here's some info:

I have done extremely well investing in those companies. I closed out my AMD position early in 1997. I closed out my last Cyrix stock before the merger. I closed out my IDTI position in early 1998. In addition, I held some NSM options which expired worthless earlier in the year - but those ones were freebies.

I challenge you to find any references I have made to investments other than those mentioned above.

Are you holding any Intel Puts?

Yes. I have a few January, 1999 puts which are currently below water.

I have excellent powers of deduction.

No, you have a distorted sense of your powers of deduction.

I would really prefer to keep the discussion at a technical/marketing level. That is what I enjoy.
