<Is there a way to automatically bring up my browser every time the computer is booted? >

Doug,

I can finally add something to this thread.
I recommend a program called Dunce from Vector Development.
vecdev.com

It's free and it allows you to automatically connect (and re-connect) to your ISP and launch your browser. Dunce Gold is is the pay version with some added bells and whistles.

I paid $29 bucks for a different program called RAS+95 which did the same thing but I like Dunce even better (not just because I'm cheap <g>)

You can either put your browser program in the StartUp folder and it will automatically launch Duncer or vice versa.
I'm using Internet Explorer 4.01 on a Gateway P5-166.

hope this helps,
gary
