Good point, but as we have already seen, SOMEBODY has enough shares to sell to pound down any rallies. That may be why they were bold enough to short, even at very low levels. I think that there is also the possibility that they can just convert to cover their short position, and won't actually have to buy back on the open market. I sure wish I understood the mechanics of this better. To someone who REALLY knew what was going on here, it probably makes total sense. (And we are probably TOTALLY wrong. <g>)

On another note, someone on Yahoo posted that Ancor was NOT laying people off. Given what we've heard about Adaptec and Brocade, that seems like it might be a positive sign.
