...actually, she's Austrian mama + English papa = quite curvy "brownette", recently augmented by a miraculous transformation of grey to the blonde end of the spectrum.
INTC up +4-7/16 in London this morning. As you can see, Nikkei has tanked; DAX sold off to ~4600, then bounced on a strong S&P futures buying programme up to ~4775; since drifting on down to ~4700, where it likes to orbit - treading water before NewYork opens up.
Well, it's easy, really - we either bounce off of perceived supports at DOW 7400 +/-50 or, we plunge on down to the next trading level, which I make to be a few ticks under DOW ~7000.
A perfect Long Straddle, IMHO; buy 1:1 = SPX 980 CALL:PUT and make $ regardless what happens next; ie., the only thing I know for sure is, we ain't staying around here, for long (^_^)
S&P Futures have rolled over to the December contract, SP98Z. They say on TeeVee that "Fair Value" is +11 this morning. There was a futures Buy Programme around 08.30 CET that helped the DAX; it would not surprise me to see a similar sentiment to keep the futures above 980 at least, before the opening in NewYork.
OTOH if the TechStox gap up this morning, with carryover momentum, it could really become explosive with all the shorts out there. Everyone was shorting AMZN yesterday... dunno why, really, when you could throw a dart at any money-center bank like CCI JPM or CMB; or any LatAm ADR.
