Bruce,

I trade with software called CyberTrader, and it allows one to initiate and route many different types of orders directly to various exchanges and ECN's. There are at least two other excellent types of software that are similar, RealTick III and TradeCast. Most remote/online type brokers use one of these. Most folks on this thread use M.B. Trading as their execution broker, using RealTick II as their quote and execution software and they report fantastic results getting good and fast executions. Of course, on extremely volatile days different traders will experience different results depending on their ability to sense the market, use the software, and depending on their computer hardware and means of connecting to their broker (internet, frame relay, direct dialup, private network, satellite, etc.)

Regarding your 1/8 stop loss, it is quite achieveable. Depending on one's individual style of trading, many traders are able to exit unwanted positions with losses of only 1/16 or even less. But, imho, one can live nicely keeping losses to - 1/8, as long as winners are allowed to run.

Good luck,

Bill
