Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this a higher aerial density then IBM is shipping to drive companies.

I was told by WDC IR at the end of July 1998 that IBM and TDK would "initially" be suppling 3.4GB heads for WDC's 10.1GB drive.
Watch for several more qualifications to come.

This is very important. Do you have any more details?
