<<I don't want to see people near the White House that are calling for God to attack cities within the U.S. Hmmmm!? Sounds like Iran, right?>>

While I agree with your sentiment, the alternative has been just as bad. Both parties have been heavily influenced by extremists in special interest groups, and both sides really love their rhetoric. Somehow I doubt that anyone really wanted to see God attack the cities. After all, even Sodom and Gommorah would have been spared if a paltry few good people could have been found. There MUST be at least 10 good people in each American city <g>. I worry more about people like the Congresswoman who recently went after George Will, calling him a racist because he thought her alleged misuse of campaign funds should be investigated. As I recall, she said that he had called her corrupt because he couldn't use the "n" word (in reality, he had never even called her corrupt). Stifling free speech and encouraging division and hate scare me far more than the religious rhetoric.
