akidron, nice to know there's another mac man on this thread. bought my seven yearold daughter an imac a few days ago.... gorgeous.....< We had a demostration of the imac at our Mac User group meeting this past Tuesday. The set up time was tremendous taking only a few minutes for internet and other uses. Since the monitor, keyboard, mouse is part of the $1200 price tag I expect it to sell rapidly. The only problem we saw was the need for a back up (floppy or zip) drive. Naturally, the printer has to be purchased. I have a performa 6300 Power Mac and am hoping to get a new one in 2000. Paul V.
