Gentlemen in this discussion (haven't heard from the ladies, yet. . . IMHO, if you have a reason for your belief, then it isn't faith. I would think that sincere faith has no reasoning or cause. In the words of Jesus Christ:"the Kingdom of God is within you". From another unremembered source:"Be still and know". The desert contemplatives of his time and since have attempted to verify the inner existence. 'Looking within' is a part of nearly all faiths. Quieting the inner chatter of the everyday mind sometimes reveals that which we seek. What a difficult exercise in self control this is. Even here, faith is the most important ingredient. Thank you for allowing me to ramble on . . . . . . . . . and aside[ Hello again, John S. How are you?] We seem to have lost Mr. XYZebra. Perhaps he will return for more since we mention his name.
