I think you have a great point, which is shared by a lot of people. He has caused such a crappy image for the US by draging this out, that if the cards he's holding aren't a royal flush, it's better for the country if he bows out now instead of addint insult to injury. For that, he won't be forgiven, and the market will dictate the vibe of the country.
