Hopefully the Genroco deal will enable PTSC to diversify, into the client side of things. All these video streams on the server side is fine. But how about a few cable boxes on the client side, with the huge numbers! If all these severs are going to be providing MPEG-2 streams, they'll need decoding on the client side. Doesn't this deal mean that PSC1000 has been configured to do MPEG-2 encoding/decoding ? I hope so. Then they could do the decoding on the client side as well!
