I have heard this too, but mostly in a derogatory way, which of course is prejudice and bias.

There is much I like about this woman, and if she is in fact a lesbian or bisexual there is nothing wrong with that, no more than there was anything wrong with Eleanor Roosevelt and many, many women who have made worthy contributions to our own culture and to the world.

President Clinton has also made his own worthy contributions, but of course many of us are quite willing to overlook these things or to deny them.

To be unwilling to see any person in their completeness and complexity not only harms that person, it damages ones own humanity and spiritual capacity as well. This is the real decline in values-our quickness to judge and dehumanize our brothers and sisters, and it is this that will come back to haunt us, much more so than anything that the President or his wife may or may not have done.
