TR,

I fully expect the specific servers to get clobbered for hours, if not totally locked up, sending out 503 messages at every attempt to connect. It's one thing to connect to a site and look at a web page, it's another to connect and then try to download 445 pages of info.

I expect that the backbones will have horrendous delay times. Now if the East Coast backbone jams up feeding the Washington DC - Atlanta (Government and CNN) regions. Then traffic will begin to be re-routed via the East-West and even around the West Coast backbones searching for clear paths to handle the traffic not going for the document.

RE your specific demo. Depending on the locations you are attempting to 'connect', today may not be the best of day's to try it out. Any delay's in the 'real' release time of the document could have it smack in the middle of your demo time period. Depending on how critical connectivity and response time is to your demo....... Tomorrow or Monday may be a better day. IMHO, but I'm not a network administrator.
