Great concept, but does it really work in the servers that it is implimented? Are they saving money on Service calls? Don't get me wrong. I am not attacking the Killer Rudedog.<G> I used to work on a techsupport line and would have loved to have some of these abilities. I know today with Remote Control products, the greatest being LapLink of course, you can do a lot of diagnostics for software problems. But doing the same for hardware I have a hard time believing? If they can make hardware that survives a crash why not make the whole box out of that material. If you know what I mean. Like those black boxes on planes.

On a different topic. I find it interesting that many people who invest get an either or mind set. Either DELL or CPQ. INTC or AMD. Investing in CPQ is not the same as saying DELL is going to die. and visa versa. Each has it's qualities, good and bad. The question is whether they wil weather the bad times. I will bet money that both will be around five years from now and anyone who invested in either will be quite happy.

Just a Rambling Balloon.
