lml, I agree with your post, you are correct. Believe me, I know as much as anybody about the sorry state of ERP stocks and in some cases, the fundamental business. But Oracle and Sap, Psft etc. used to LEAD the mkt, now they dont. Its a curious phenomenon because I am sure business automation across the internet is just beginning. Maybe this lack of momentum is just a temporary blip in the sector and the stocks will come back next year after the y2k scare (Im talking about the sector, not just Orcl here). For that to happen, we need to return to the prior growth rates, thats my point.
