Marie,

I also use both IE and Netscape and have experienced problems with IE (although seemingly not the resource leak you described). The problem I was having was evidenced by an error box flashing up for just a moment (not long enough to read) after logging on to DATEK for a while. This never happens with Netscape. Have you had this problem also?

Yesterday I installed an update to the winsock dll which purports to fix the resource leak. I can't tell you how to obtain it as a friend sent it to me. I believe he got it from the Microsoft ftp site (ftp://ftp.microsoft.com).. It also claims to fix a problem in Dial-Up-Networking which caused problems with domain name resolution if you use an Ethernet connection in addition to your DUN. If I find the source, I will post it here.

regards, SG
