Just saw this WSJ/DJ Press-Release 12/19/96: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lidak Pharm Develops Method To Identify Allergy,Asthma Drugs LA JOLLA, Calif. -- Lidak Pharmaceuticals (LDAKA) said its scientists developed a rapid method to identify novel drugs for the treatment of allergic diseases and asthma. In a press release, the company said its method is based on manipulating a naturally occurring regulator of the IgE antibody that causes allergies. Lidak Pharmaceuticals, La Jolla, Calif., develops therapeutic products for virally caused diseases, inflammatory disorders, allergic diseases and asthma, and cancer. ----------------------------------------- Sounds interesting, but who knows!! - Jack
