Gary, I'm not sure about that, are you? The intermediate routers may get swamped and end up rerouting packets down the re-route chain just to find another busy router. I'm sure the fiber optics and wires won't melt or burn, but a flat out statement that the backbone networks won't overload... I'm not sure enough to say that .. can you add a reassurance to that fact? Can you say that someone trying to send an on-line stock order to their will be able to connect and get timely response times if this hits the web as some are projecting? Or are you splitting hairs over lock-out vs not being about to connect due to internet traffic overload? Thanks, Ben A.
