The excuse that fire suppression is threatening to conscript all the helicopters in northern Alta is very poor. The largest fire SE of Ft Vermilion is a smouldering ground fire and action on it is very minimal. This fire will only be put out by winter snowfall if sufficient. With light over winter snow the ground fire could easily be there in the spring There are plenty of R/W in the area for hire. Just more gorilla dust IMHO Regards DJ
