AAPL's underperformance. . .

I would expect sales data to start reaching analysts right about know (e.g. number in retail for August). The stock held more or less steady through the bear market which makes me believe the figures must be ok. I'd doubt they are spectacular as otherwise they would have revisited $40 already.

Lastly I still believe a substantial portion of the short position (3-7 million shares) is by convertible-debt holders.
