If one is seeking answers, doesn't one usually ask questions?

If one does not know the answers, then why respond? Wouldn't it be just as effective to leave the questions unanswered, or would this be considered a sign of concession?

Where was it stated, by the creator of the thread, on the thread what his motivations were for creating the thread?
