Each UST will need a CAPSCAN of it's own because they are individually calibrated to measure the individual tank. The thing that a station owner can do is take them with him if he moves to a new location. At that time they could be activated for the new individual tanks. I mean even though one tank might be the same size as another they are not all aligned in the same fashion and EVDS will only activate the device to measure the tank it was sold to measure.

Anyway it doesn't just monitor leaks. It keeps your inventory record for you too, allowing for computerized data reporting.
