Dan, you said it! Why buy Intel when there were better deals out there. I bought AMD and VLSI back in July. There is still room for AMD to go higher in '97. Maybe "humble" carl is just pissed off because he missed out on AMD gains because he is an "Intel Loyalist". Many people are brainwashed by Intel's onslaught of advertising.
