And over 60% of CIO's think corporations own the internet ...

and 98% of sixth graders know that nobody owns the internet.

Then there was the bank's CIO that wasn't even aware that they were running Linux on 150 machines.

Yeah, I REALLY respect these @ssholes. Scott Adams hits the nail on the head.

Talk to your IT professionals. Some day they'll be in charge.

I think you'll find Linux and Apache on more web servers than Windows NT. Check it out. Prove me wrong.

Why do you think Bill can't sleep at night?

Actually I wouldn't understand why someone would buy NT over Linux. Linux is undeniably a faster, cheaper, better operating system with better support. I'd go with Linux if I were a CIO. And I'd be a CIO but I don't want to have 3/4 of my brain removed.

Oracle and Informix porting to Linux is evidence that the world is waking up.

I'm not trying to convert you anymore than I would try to convert a Branch Davidian. "Science is proof without certainty ... religion is certainty without proof."

But thanks for the lively debate. It's kind of fun.

Best of luck.
