The conference was held by AMAT competitors, there business is dead and AMAT is gaining market share. The price may dip to $20 or lower but if you are wrong when will you buy at $40. If INTC is selling and DELL is selling the PC business has cleared out the inventory channels and Christmas sales will start happening soon. Japan and Asia were never big consumers of electronics, North America and Europe are the consumer markets. I got AMAT at $26 and think by December '99 I will be very happy, BB you have lowered your entry point from a few months back you may get it or you may wish you had fired when it dipped below 25. When this takes off it will be easy to get left behind.
