Point of information: Anyone with Level II who can see the specific market makers should look for unusual activity in FAHN and NITE, two mentioned in today's "press release." Both are notorious for shorting stocks. They are extremely active in lots of small cap stocks right now and deserve watching on days when you feel the activity in FNTN is a little "strange."

A friend experienced in such things tells me that market makers can short a stock and have 30 days to come up with cash (if shorting naked as a market maker). They can ride the paper in other words rather than money (unlike the rest of us). So when you feel like you can't beat the shorts, this is one reason.
