Worswick, Brilliant. Nothing so improbable could be anything but true. Not up to that standard, but amusing anyway (to those who have lived in Asia anyway): Yesterday I encountered dead-stop traffic on the road that zigzags over a hill between home and office. A fully loaded cement mixer had flipped on the downgrade. The contractor sent over his largest crane. Nobody bothered to compare the loaded weight of the truck with the lifting capacity of the crane. Now the crane is sitting upright on its nose, back end sticking straight up. The boom of the crane took out all telephone and cable TV lines (no more cartoon channel and calling Papa at the office for a while) and a couple of posts. Missed the electricity, fortunately. The concrete in the mixer is now completely hardened, and this monument to human inefficiency looks set to remain in situ for the immediate future. Maybe I'll post a picture. It's really quite impressive. There are times when I think I've been here too long. Steve
