lorrie...really the Tripp/GOP pairing is pure speculation. It's little more than a conspiracy theory. As Tripp was an inhabitant of Clinton's WH for over four years, I'm certainly not ready to accept that she's "one of us". As I understand she was hired by the Bush admin? I can only conclude that her politics were lukewarm, and probably more liberal than conservative.

If I had worked in the WH in a Republican admin, when that President's term was over and if a liberal Dem like Clinton was coming in, I think I'd be looking for alternative employment. But who knows, since I've never worked in Wash DC, much less the WH. Perhaps being surrounded by high powered VIPs is intoxicating.
