It takes the pressure off them vis-a-vis the Mineral Ridge property, and allows them to now focus on the Carlin Trend play with GBGLF, which is where they need to be placing all their attention. Simple as that. The lingering question is: how much residual damage was done while their attention was distracted with Mineral Ridge? Probably not much, since GBGLF seems to have been carrying the ball at the Carlin, but we shall see.
