I shorted another 1k at 68 15/16 just before the close, THIS BABY IS HOT HOT HOT. I just LOVE it. I hope it goes higher on MONDAY so I can short some more above 70's. THIS IS A DREAM of an OVER_VALUED STOCK FOR ME. From the chart, the fundamentals, the meager earnings, the competitive rivals, the in-sector comparisons and the artificial spiking(which lasts NOT too long), I am convinced that it will pay off very handsomely.

Here is FORBES coverage on it:

>>These blue-chip customers pushed Broadcom's sales
to $37 million in fiscal 1997 (ended Dec. 31, 1997),
up 100% from fiscal 1996 (ended Dec. 31, 1996)
sales of $18 million. Even though its sales are up, so
are its expenses, thus cutting into the company's
profitability. Broadcom posted a net loss of $1.17
million in 1997, versus a net profit of $3 million for
fiscal 1996.

Even though it competes with semiconductor
goliaths like Rockwell (ROK), Philips, LSI Logic
(LSI) and VLSI Technologies (VLSI), Broadcom's
recent spate of new orders should help it get a warm
greeting from Wall Street. <<
