All,

I prefer the loud heavy and tactile beige IBM 102 Key model myself. They make a quieter version which is far less tactile as well. not familar with the black ones. The Northgate OmniKey was another nice keyboard but no longer made. Surplus direct has the "good" IBM keyboards for $29.95. A Steal! Others I'm sure will disagree. Keyboards are highly personal.
