C'mon. It was a good post. And I agree with some of the conclusions. It still is evading the point.
Hypocrisy isn't an illness, nor is it a character flaw. However, an overactive libido IS an illness (though not a crime).
Furthermore, habitual lying IS an illness (and a crime, if under oath).
Clinton, has, on numerous occasions, been proven a liar. And he hasn't learned from his mistakes. I'd say he has a little bit of an illness, in that respect.

What I mean to say, regarding the post, is that to say "we all have an illness" (as I am sure some of us do) DOES NOT mean that he DOESN'T. And it certainly isn't a good rationalization for particular types of behavior.
If 70% of the country shoplifted, it still wouldn't mean shoplifting is a good or right thing. It just means alot of people do it. Sort've like pot. I smoked it, you smoked it, we all smoked it at some point. Some of us still do. While I support legalization of ALL drugs...that doesn't make drug use GOOD or RIGHT. I quit because I recognized the debilitating effects it had and the irrational behavior it induced.
I don't particularly find the media to be at fault for providing a willing public what they want. I wish they executed more discretion, but that is part of the reason why I don't want to go back into the media industry.
