No, OBV by itself is of doubtful value, but using a 40 day MA of OBV as a trigger give you a definitive exit and entry point for the average stock movements. Put this indicator on your favorite stocks and see if entry and exit agree with your mind set, if not, adjust it.

It was recomended after looking at 100s of charts.
