Shame on you, Reseller. You of all people here should know that the floppy drive in the Sony mavica is a device WHERE THE READ/WRITE HEAD IS ALREADY IN CONTACT WITH THE MEDIA! Therefore, no risk of a head crash is present.

Iomega's Vapor!, on the other hand, sports a tiny read/wite head micrometers away from rapidly spinning disastor.

Really now, Reseller. I thought you of all people should know better. You see, a VCR uses a mechanism where THE READ/WRITE HEAD IS ALREADY IN CONTACT WITH THE MEDIA! Thefore no risk of a head crash is present.

Umm.. yeah. I guess in Vapor!'s 2 year's time, NO ONE WANTS IT IN THEIR PORTABLE DEVICES! Not ONE OEM has been named in all this time Vapor! has been shopped Around- 2 YEARS!

BTW, you never did explain to all of the good people here what happens to a disc drive when a floating read/write head comes into contact with a 3000rpm spinning disc. Is there a reason why you choose not to give your professional opinion on this matter?
