What is "cut'n paste" for, if not webknapping? Yo ho, yo ho...
The raw emotive power compelled me to hijack this character; the best thing since Joe/Bear/Chimp vanished into the ether...where are you, Ursa Major?

Dear Lady:

I cannot believe the hatred that has built up on this thread towards me. My initial
thought this morning was to come back and dispute every single charge made against
me in the past 24 hours. My second and final thought was: What would be the point?

If I may, I would like to address 3 points that really hurt me and then I will cease.

1. Slanderous comments about "wife beater", "mean with children", were totally
uncalled for and as such deserve no response. This is the single comment that hurt me
the most. Talk about going off the subject at hand, huh? Shame on you and all that
suppported this statement.

2. For the people who constantly worry about my age, I am 68 and thank you for
pointing out the typo (58) on my personal profile. I don't believe that typing a 5 which
is next to a 6 shows manipulation or any other dastardly deed.

3. Finally, the profanity unleashed in these past few hours has been totally unjustified.
My God, I thought we lived in a civilized world.

Thirty plus years ago, while in the prime of my life I was stricken with a rare form of
stomach cancer. For you non-medical types, the flap that seals the stomach from the
in-take tube had to be removed.
This meant that I would no longer be able to sleep in my bed because the stomach acid
would roll up into my intake tube causing extreme discomfort. My eating habits also
slowed dramatically. I went from 180 pounds down to 120 within 6 months. I did not
mind any of this because the doctors had given me a maximum of 3 years to live.
Fortunately that was 30 years ago and somehow I beat the odds and have survived to
see "my golden age".

continued on ...
