Jim,

There's a factor you have to consider when estimating where the Dow will go.

We've had it pushed up by the inflow of Asian monies. Now we have Soviet block and Latin and South American markets collapsing. Bond rates are too low for a decent return.

The 'safe' stocks are considered to be the DOW stocks.

While I will consider it to be overpriced based on growth projections, I 'feel' we'll see resistance around 7000 because there's no other place for investors to put their money. For this same reason, I also think we'll see a better balance between the large and small caps.
